Guyer Gets a Boost from Sperry in 42-13 Victory
Starting off the list is Guyer's Kevin Sperry, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sperry threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 91 yards.
Guyer pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Sperry and Guyer will host Little Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

A Season-Best Effort from Rhyan Sewell Leads Lewisville over Coppell
On Friday, Lewisville had to settle for second even though Rhyan Sewell put up the best numbers he has all season. Sewell wasn't messing around, picking up three sacks and making seven total tackles (4.0 for loss). The game was his eighth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Sewell could be in store for another big game when he takes on Hebron on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Sewell saw the Hawks), he picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Sterling Schneider Goes Supernova in Guyer Victory
The second Guyer player making an appearance here is Sterling Schneider, and for good reason. He rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
If history really does repeat itself, Schneider might just drop another big game when he faces off against Little Elm on Friday. Schneider rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries the last time he and the Lobos duked it out back in September of 2023.
