The Hampton County Hurricanes will head out on the road to square off against the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hampton County is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Hampton County posted their biggest win since November 20, 2023 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over Whale Branch.
Hilton Head Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were beaten by Camden 64-32. While losing is never fun, Hilton Head Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Camden is ranked first).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Morgan Scott, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Hampton County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 8-6.
