The Catholic Central Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matchups by 20  points or more this season. They really took it to Cohoes for the full four quarters, racking up a  72-36 win on the road. The  victory was familiar territory for Catholic Central who now have eight in a row.
  Darien  Moore continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 35 points and 16  rebounds. The  contest was  his ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Qwameik  Smith, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 11  rebounds.
 Catholic Central's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the  games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.67 points. As for Cohoes, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-6.
 Catholic Central will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Cobleskill-Richmondville at 6:30  p.m. Cobleskill-Richmondville will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 658th, while Catholic Central is ranked eighth). As for Cohoes, they will head out on the road to face off against Mohonasen at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Mohonasen is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak.
