Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy found their leader in underclassman McKinley Perry, who scored 20 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Perry scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Rogan, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Varsity Opponent, they bumped their record down to 279-1091-2 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will head out on the road to challenge Houma Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Trinity Christian at 5:15 p.m. Hopefully Trinity Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 two weeks ago.
