The San Fernando Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Van Nuys. If San Fernando hoped to take revenge for the 51-49 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Victor Marin, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Adrian Lomeli, who scored 11 points.
San Fernando bumped their record down to 7-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Van Nuys, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.
San Fernando will look to defend their home court on Friday against Reseda at 6:00 p.m. Van Nuys won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Canoga Park at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th.
