Even though the Sublette Larks have not done well against the Wichita County Indians recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Sublette took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 67-39 win over Wichita County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Sublette has posted yet this season.
Loss or not, Wichita County got some senior leadership from Colton Harbin and Christopher Michel. Harbin scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Michel. scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Harbin has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played.
Sublette's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Wichita County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Sublette will take on Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Syracuse is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. Wichita County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southwestern Heights at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Southwestern Heights is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
