They came out on top in a nail-biter against Nolan Catholic and snuck past 71-68. Given Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Nolan Catholic is ranked 568th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Toby Pike continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. Isaac Aguilar was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Nolan Catholic, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is on the road again on Friday and play against Grace Prep at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd. One thing working in Grace Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Nolan Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prestonwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Prestonwood Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
