Khloe Vaughn was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and seven steals for Klein Oak. Vaughn has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Maci Mote was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five assists.
Klein Cain's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Klein Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
Klein Cain will finish 2023 at home by hosting Benjamin Davis at 8:00 a.m. on December 29th. Klein Oak and Fort Bend Elkins will round out the year against one another at 8:00 a.m. on December 28th at. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fort Bend Elkins has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Klein Oak will arrive with three straight victories.
