Football Recap: Battle Ground Academy Skates Past Chattanooga Prep with Ease

Battle Ground Academy got themselves on the board against Chattanooga Prep on Thursday, but Chattanooga Prep never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 44-0 victory over the Sentinels. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six games by 25 points or more so far this season.

Kaedyn Marable had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 163 yards and four TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes. Max Curry also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.

The win made it two in a row for Battle Ground Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 10 points in those games. As for Chattanooga Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Battle Ground Academy will challenge Pope John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Chattanooga Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chattanooga Central on the 24th.
