The Harmony Longhorns will head out on the road to square off against the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harmony is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
Harmony will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Lakeland on Saturday. Harmony blew past Lakeland 13-3. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.
Hailey Baker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexis Wilson, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Allen, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Harmony always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bekah Mitchell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024.
At the plate, Cornerstone Charter Academy's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Emma Pynes, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
