Elgin/Pope John won the last time they faced Chambers/Wheeler Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades 60-32. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Elgin/Pope John's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayton Zwingman led the charge by putting up 13 points. Those 13 points gave Zwingman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Kurpgeweit, who posted 12 points.

Several Renegades players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Moses, who earned seven points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Haily Schaaf, who scored six points and six rebounds.

Elgin/Pope John is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.3 points. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

The future could be bright for both Elgin/Pope John and Chambers/Wheeler Central: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Elgin/Pope John will try to hand Randolph their 18th-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chambers/Wheeler Central will look to extend Neligh-Oakdale's three-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
