The Hiawatha Red Hawks won the last time they faced the Troy Trojans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hiawatha put the hurt on Troy with a sharp 64-39 win.
Troy's loss came despite strong showings from Gannon Bowe and Jack Hartman. Bowe scored 15 points, while Hartman scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
The victory got Hiawatha back to even at 1-1. As for Troy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Hiawatha will be playing in front of their home fans against Centralia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Troy is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Doniphan West.
