Braham hasn't had much luck against Rush City recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bombers will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Braham came out on top against Ogilvie on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Bombers were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Rush City made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pine City on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 23-4 win.
Natalie Rood was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 4-for-6 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.
In other batting news, Kensey Simmons was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Cailyn Glenna was another key player, going 4-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Rush City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .581. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Braham's record now sits at 13-2. As for Rush City, their record is now 12-4.
Braham couldn't quite finish off Rush City in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 and fell 2-0. Can the Bombers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
