Halifax is a perfect 10-0 against Juniata since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Halifax is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
Halifax will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against East Juniata on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Tigers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jack Wilson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since April 1st. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Juniata posted their closest victory since May 12, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Line Mountain 7-5.
Like Halifax, Juniata also got a great game from a two-way player: Daylyn Kennedy. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Kennedy was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and two stolen bases. He is becoming a predictor of Juniata's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 1-8 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cam Bargo, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Hayden Burd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Halifax's win bumped their record up to 13-1-1. As for Juniata, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Halifax hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like Juniata struggles in that department as they've averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Halifax's way against Juniata when the teams last played last Friday, as Halifax made off with a 17-8 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
