The Notre Dame Regents will take on the Santa Teresa Saints at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
Notre Dame's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp  15-0 win. The  victory was familiar territory for the Regents, who have now won three  matchups in a row.
 Molly Rogove and  Anya Shah made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Rogove   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Shah   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate,  Rogove  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Shah  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. What's more,  Rogove posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kamille Beals, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Alex Vera was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Notre Dame was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .550. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Santa Teresa and Branham meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Thursday. The Saints came up short against  the Bruins, falling  15-6.
  Savanna Herbst and  Izzy Bardelmeier did some serious damage despite the final result:  Herbst  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Bardelmeier  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Santa Teresa's loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
 Santa Teresa's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Friday. Notre Dame has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.9  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Santa Teresa, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.5  strikeouts. Will Notre Dame keep running through batters, or will the Saints buck the trend?
