The Hoopeston Cornjerkers won the last time they faced the Watseka Warriors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hoopeston came out on top against Watseka by a score of 60-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hoopeston.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoopeston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Eisenman, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendrick Sigerill, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Hoopeston's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Watseka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.
Hoopeston will head out on the road to challenge Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoopeston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Watseka, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Momence at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Watseka is on a three-game streak of home losses, Momence a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
