The Perry Bluejays were the 56-54 winner over the Ogden Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Perry fell 62-50 to Ogden on Thursday.
Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Geren Kenney, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Kenney scored a full 36% of Perry's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Drake Levan, who scored 12 points along with 5 assists.
Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ogden, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ogden, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Central Valley at 7:30 p.m.
