After two games on the road, Moody is heading back home. They will take on the Winterboro Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Moody is ranked 332nd, while Winterboro is ranked 330th).
Moody suffered their biggest loss since November 20, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 77-37 loss at the hands of Briarwood Christian.
Meanwhile, Winterboro beat Wadley 59-49 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Winterboro.
Moody's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Winterboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Moody didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Winterboro in their previous matchup back in January of 2019, but they still walked away with a 85-80 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Winterboro's Cameron C.P. Pointer, who scored 26 points along with two steals.
