East Canton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Crestwood Red Devils at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
East Canton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Fairless 75-49. Given East Canton's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Fairless is ranked 680th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Crestwood beat Grand Valley 44-39 on Saturday.
It was another big night for Charlie Schweickert, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Dekota Johnson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three blocks.
East Canton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Crestwood's record now sits at 11-2.
