Chris DeSena gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Wednesday. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Nevada Union: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-12 otherwise.

DeSena and Nevada Union are on the road again on Wednesday to play Shasta at 2:00 p.m. The Wolves are limping into the matchup having lost three straight at home.
