Glenwood has gone a perfect 3-0 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Titans will square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
If Glenwood beats Washington with 12 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Titans didn't even let Lanphier on the board on Wednesday, marking the Titans' second-straight 12-0 shutout. Considering the Titans have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Dylan Huff made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Huff was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Cameron Appenzeller looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
Back at the plate, Glenwood got a big performance out of Joe Anderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Anderson a new career-high. Joe Sutton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Glenwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Washington and Limestone had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly three runs.
The team relied heavily on Eli Roedell, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah McCoy, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Glenwood pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Washington, their record is now 13-6.
Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Glenwood has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. However, it's not like Washington struggles in that department as they've averaged .446. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Glenwood skirted past Washington 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
