Football Recap: Williamsville South Piles Up the Points Against Lake Shore

Williamsville South waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed past the Lake Shore Eagles to the tune of 41-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Billies' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Eagles are ranked 463rd).

Williamsville South's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lake Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsville South will welcome West Seneca East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Billies 12.7, the Trojans 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Lake Shore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Starpoint at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
