The Lee Christian Falcons will take on the Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Lee Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Sandhills Classical Christian on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons were dealt a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Lions. The Falcons were down 43-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Kendall Craven put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Craven is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Mashburn, who had four points and five steals.
Meanwhile, Southeastern Christian Academy humbled Liberty Christian Academy with a 47-11 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 30 points or more this season.
Lee Christian better keep an eye on Angelina Lauver. She was instrumental in Southeastern Christian Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Lauver is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game. Elizabeth Dickerson was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven assists and three steals.
Southeastern Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Lee Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Lee Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Southeastern Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
