In other batting news, Laci North made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Makinze Rabon, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Biloxi was able to grind out a solid victory over Bay on Friday, taking the game 4-1.
The team relied heavily on Jolee Shaver, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Imani Shannon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
