It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Triton Central Tigers can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 56-38 to the Royals. Triton Central has struggled against the Royals recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Hancock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sammie Bolding, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bolding has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Willis, who scored 11 points along with five assists and two blocks.
Triton Central's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Eastern Hancock, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-1.
Triton Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eastern Hancock won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
