The Windsor Wizards pushed their score all the way to 77 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 78-77 to Denver East. Windsor was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Denver East apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Several Wizards players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Johnathan Reed, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Henry Jones, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Denver East, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Windsor will take on Vista Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Denver East, they will take on Poudre at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
