Kaplan's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-15. As for St. Martinville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
Kaplan was taken down by St. Martinville 92-26 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kaplan was down 50-15.
