Max Walraven Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, West Forsyth got the W thanks in part to Max Walraven playing the best football he has all season. Walraven threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards.
The victory (which was West Forsyth's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Walraven and West Forsyth will face off against North Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cameron Bland posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns. Lambert is undefeated when Bland posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Forsyth Central's probably not too fond of Bland given he always seems to get the better of them. Bland rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October of 2023.
