Enochs' victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Modesto, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Enochs' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Modesto has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game.
