Craigmont's loss came despite strong showings from Christopher Taylor and Tashun Lewis. Taylor scored 23 points, while Lewis scored 19 points.
Millington Central found their leader in underclassman Andre Tyler, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Tyler scored 15 or more points. Aiden Maclin was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds.
Craigmont dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Millington Central, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Craigmont will face off against Munford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Munford's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 14 matchups. As for Millington Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Raleigh-Egypt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Raleigh-Egypt will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
