Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Irish Wolfhounds vs. Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy

With the Irish Wolfhounds ahead 56-23 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

It was another big night for Ki?Andrey Thomas, who went 11 for 26 en route to 30 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Charles Buford, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists.

Notre Dame Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 61-39 to Hearts Academy.

Notre Dame Academy's record is now 14-9. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Notre Dame Academy suffered a grim 65-42 defeat to Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Notre Dame Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
