Clover Hill found their leader in underclassman Olivia Kraft, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kraft has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Elam, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Richmond City School of the Arts' loss was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.8 points per game. As for Clover Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond City School of the Arts will challenge Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Thomas Jefferson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Clover Hill, they will head out on the road to take on Midlothian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
