Yazoo County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Ben Luckett, who passed for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns, and junior Malik Banks, who caught passes for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for J.Z. George, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They took a hard 0-20 fall against Humphreys County. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but J.Z. George were outplayed the rest of the way.
Yazoo County simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat J.Z. George 49-6. Will Yazoo County repeat their success, or does J.Z. George have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
