Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Franklin were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a serious blow against Red Cloud, falling 50-22. Franklin has not had much luck with Red Cloud recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Franklin had strong showings from Caiden Peterman, who scored six points along with five assists and two steals, and Eldon Haack, who scored six points along with six rebounds. Peterman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
