Westview's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Whitko Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

While Westview won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23.

Kloie Yoder paced Westview's offense, picking up eight kills. Yoder got some help from Alayah Hostetler and her seven assists. Yoder also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addison (Addy) Kauffman, racking up two apiece.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Whitko, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Westview and Whitko will both be playing Jimtown the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Jimmies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
