Woodlake is 0-10 against Corcoran since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Woodlake Tigers will be playing at home against the Corcoran Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Woodlake will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1424th, while Corcoran is ranked 401st).
Woodlake suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 71-50 walloping at the hands of Kings Christian. Woodlake has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Corcoran waltzed into their game on Wednesday with 12 straight wins but they left with 13. They came out on top against Strathmore by a score of 60-53.
Woodlake dropped their record down to 4-18 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
Woodlake was taken down by Corcoran 73-18 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Woodlake was down 42-11.
