Jones was led to victory by Danielle Gonzales and Abby Del Bosque. Gonzales scored six points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Del Bosque scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Gonzales posted two or more blocks.
Jones is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Ingleside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jones will take on Orange Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Grove is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Ingleside, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calhoun at 6:15 p.m. Calhoun will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 961st, while Ingleside is ranked 469th).
