The Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their match at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 56-27 win over Langford.
Despite the loss, Langford saw an underclassman step up: Dylan Harmon scored six points along with six rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Harmon posted two or more blocks.
Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah]'s victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Langford, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] will square off against Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] is ranked 101st in South Dakota, while Richland is ranked 103rd in North Dakota). Langford is on the road again on Friday and plays Faulkton at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Faulkton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Langford surely won't give up without a fight.
