The Kadoka Kougars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-22 victory over Sully Buttes. This was payback for Kadoka, who suffered a 52-0 loss the last time these two teams met.
Gus Stout continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 166 yards and three touchdowns.
Kadoka has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Sully Buttes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Kadoka will head out on the road to face off against Faulkton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Faulkton will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Sully Buttes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
