Baseball Recap: Bay Triumphs

Bay's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Sequoyah Chiefs.

The team relied heavily on Nick Fuentes, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Johnathan Corona, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Bay's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Sequoyah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Bay will host Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sequoyah, they will head out to take on Lenoir City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
