Foresthill is a perfect 6-0 against Leroy Greene Academy since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wildfires will look to defend their home field against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Foresthill barely beat Faith Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildfires were the clear victors by a 19-8 margin over the Lions on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildfires.

Lynnsey Drone was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Marissa Miller was a standout: she got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Ella Lorance was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Foresthill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .596. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Leroy Greene Academy came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Valley Christian 27-11.
Leroy Greene Academy got a massive performance out of Marley Nava, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one triple. Nava continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Irene Aceves, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
Leroy Greene Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Foresthill, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Foresthill took their win against Leroy Greene Academy when the teams last played on April 9th by a conclusive 17-7 score. Do the Wildfires have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
