Big North - Freedom recap Oct. 30, 2012
Aaron Guzman of Hackensack ran for the longest rushing play in Big North - Freedom this season against Passaic last week. Guzman ran for 83 yards on the play and finished with 159 on the day as his team defeated the Indians.
Ridgewood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jamal Locke threw for 59 yards and Cooper Nidds had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Locke chipped in 182 yards. Tim Bonanno helped Ridgewood's passing attack out by catching two balls for 18 yards.
Passaic's Naiam Reed and Davon Stowe have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Reed has thrown for 417 yards this season, while Stowe has 19 catches for 342 yards. Reco Facey from Hackensack leads the league in rushing with 553 yards.
The Maroons led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Clifton. Locke in the win.
