After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prairie Heights, Westview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jimtown Jimmies, sneaking past 6-5. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 9-4 win the Jimmies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.
Breanna Garrett was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
