The Central Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 64-57 to Friendly. Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Friendly apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Friendly got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryce Harvey out in front who scored 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Joel Danquah, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Central bumped their record down to 1-7-1 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Friendly, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Parkdale at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Friendly, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oxon Hill at 7:15 p.m.
