Hylton is a perfect 6-0 against Osbourn since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hylton Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Osbourn Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, it was close, but Hylton sidestepped Brooke Point for a 9-7 win.

Alanis Layne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Elizabeth Darr was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Hernandez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Osbourn had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Gar-Field as Osbourn made off with a 24-7 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Tristyn Kershner was a standout: she scored five runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Maya Mira, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Osbourn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .867. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .562 that Gar-Field posted.
Hylton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Osbourn, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Hylton came out on top in a nail-biter against Osbourn when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Does Hylton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Osbourn turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
