Knoxville Central took down Halls 34-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Bobcats led AAA District 3 in scoring this week by notching 34 points on the Red Devils.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Clinton's Tyler Thackerson and Drake Powell have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Thackerson has thrown for 2,321 yards this season, while Powell has 78 catches for 923 yards. Anderson County's Matt Fox leads the league in rushing yards with 1,709.
The Dragons' Powell is only 77 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Sequoyah. So far this year, he has garnered 78 catches for 923 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Knoxville Central takes on Oak Ridge. The Bobcats are currently in fifth, while the Wildcats are in third.
Gibbs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,939 from 6,633. The improvement was the result of a 24-10 victory over Karns last week.
