Marion barely beat Trico the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 13-2 win on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Trico, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will host Mt. Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trico, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Zeigler-Royalton at 4:30 p.m. The matchup will give the Pioneers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
