The matchup was Scofield's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Metzner, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Theodore was beaten by Baker 58-25 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Theodore has scored all season.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy's loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3. As for Theodore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in December of 2022, slipping by Theodore 56-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cottage Hill Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
