The Palmer Terrors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Widefield Gladiators at 1:00 p.m. One thing working in Palmer's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Palmer gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Widefield as Palmer made off with a 77-51 win. Given Palmer's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Widefield is ranked 251st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Walker Asp was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Yunker, who scored eight points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Palmer has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Widefield, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-17.
