Despite the defeat, Bethlehem Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryleigh Acres went 6 of 11 on her way to 13 points and three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Acres. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Fry, who posted nine points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tallulah Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 51-33 fall against Athens Christian. The Indians were down 40-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
